Our responsibility

CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

Our claim: Be honest! Sustainability requires clear principles, transparency, and credibility.

WITH COURAGE AND HEART

Our global corporate culture thrives on this attitude of lifelong learning and growing together. It gives us a stable foundation on which sustainable success can be built – and at the same time the courage to change things when the future demands it. This is how we shape change with foresight – and lead with heart, responsibility, and vision.

And today, as the global market leader for components for aluminum profile systems, we can look back with gratitude and look forward to an exciting future.

"We give young talent a home – and thus our industry a future."

As a medium-sized company, we bear responsibility for the next generation of skilled workers. That is why we are proud to be an IHK-certified training company. Young people not only gain technical expertise with us, but also experience a work culture characterized by respect, trust, and opportunities for development.

Independent evaluations confirm that we are on the right track: the repeated Kununu award as a Top Company (2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026) shows that appreciation, open dialogue, and fair conditions are not empty promises, but are lived out every day.

"Responsibility knows no boundaries – it connects us with partners worldwide."

Sustainability does not stop at the factory gate – it extends throughout the entire value chain. That is why we also take responsibility where we do not have direct influence: with our partners and suppliers. In line with the voluntary Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (SCDDA), we conducted a comprehensive risk analysis in 2023. This resulted in a structured risk management system that helps us identify potential human rights or environmental risks at an early stage and take preventive countermeasures.

We want to not only treat our partners as equals, but also work together to create transparency and security.

We have already been rated as a sustainable supplier by EcoVadis and are participating in the network – an important milestone that shows that our path of responsibility and partnership also has an external impact.

"Good corporate governance thrives on people who shape responsibility."

Sustainability and culture are not marginal issues for us – they are part of our corporate identity. The fact that we have created our own responsibilities for this is not a matter of course in a company of our size – and is a clear commitment.

Our culture and communications officer guides us through change processes, promotes the further development of our corporate culture, and supports teams in workshops on soft skills, communication, and inner attitude. With resilience training and personal counseling, she is the point of contact for professional and personal challenges. This makes an ethical and value-oriented leadership style tangible and lived.

At the same time, our sustainability manager is driving structural change within the company: she is establishing processes for data collection, developing projects on environmental and social challenges, and preparing the creation of product carbon footprints (PCFs) and corporate carbon footprints (CCFs) – with the aim of voluntary transparent reporting in the future. In this way, we are laying the foundation for making sustainability systematic, measurable, and effective in the long term.

"Sustainability needs structures – and quality that can be verified."

To ensure reliability and transparency, we work according to established management standards. The ISO 9001 certification, with which we have our quality management regularly reviewed, is particularly important to us. It guarantees that our processes are clearly structured, documented, and geared toward continuous improvement.

This is how we show that binding standards, continuous development, and clear structures are just as much a part of sustainable corporate management for us as ecological and social responsibility.
